The First Friday Skate:
Skaters meet on the first Friday of
every month at the intersection of
Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road Mall (Miami Beach) at 6:30 PM. If you're planning to join us, please be ready to roll by 7:00 PM SHARP!
The First Friday Skate is a police-
escorted skate tour through
some
of the lushest neighbor-
hoods in Miami Beach. The route
is about 10-12 miles and the
group travels at an average
speed of 10-12 miles-per-hour,
(sometimes faster, depending
on the neighborhood and road
conditions.) There is at least one
water break at the midway point.
Helmets are mandatory, and
blinking lights are a must after
dark.

Cyclists and others who would like to join us at the First Friday Skate are welcome. This event is FREE and open to participants of all ages.

Skate and Bike Rentals:
Skates and bikes are available for rent at Fritz's Bike and Skate Shop. They are located at 1620 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach - just yards from where we meet for the First Friday Skate.
Parking:
There is convenient parking at the 17th Street Parking Garage. The fee is $1 per hour for the first 4 hours, $6 for 4 to 6 hours, $8 for 6 to 8 hours. Maximum daily rate is $15.00.
